Friday, October 10th. For tickets to BUY see the ladies of the UMW. For tickets to SELL see Sally Crowe. We are also selling raffle tickets for a new yellow motor scooter that will be on display at the United Community Bank. All proceeds go to the building funds.
First Place
Discover a new way to healthy living. Join us for the next First Place class in the Fellowship Hall. Orientation/registration meeting will be held Thursday, September 4th from 6:30-8:00 pm. Meeting in weekly support groups, the members of First Place 4 Health follow a 12 week curriculum that is centered around achieving balance in four essential areas of their lives: emotional, spiritual, mental and physical. First Place encourages members to adopt practical disciplines in all four areas. First Place helps members learn how to be victorious over past eating patterns and how to commit their minds and, ultimately, their bodies to God. Prayerfully consider joining our group this session. Our sessions are open to all men and women in the community, repeaters and new members, who desire to participate in a faith-based weight loss program. Join us on September 4th for more information. QUILTING BEE
Quilting Bee is up and running. Meeting on Tuesday evenings. June Shunk and Ruth Lancaster have volunteered to teach the class and everyone is invited to join in the fun as we learn a wonderful craft. Sign-up sheet is on the bulletin board for those interested and the day or night you would like to have the class.

Children's Church: Volunteers are needed for one Sunday each month for 15-20 minutes during the service. Contact Ashley McKinley
Church Flowers: If you would like to place flowers in the church for a Sunday service, check the calendar in the back of the sanctuary and sign up for a date!
Family Night Suppers: Groups needed to host suppers for the next few months. Signup sheet is on the bulletin board.
